One of the questions she asked was, What religions have you studied that helped you learn these ethical values? I told her that I had studied several different religious value systems and that I found my personal and professional values in the Scriptures.
This morning in my quiet time I read Psalms 2 where the writer wrote Gods promise: Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. (verse 8). The question God placed on my heart is why have we not asked for Turkey and the rest of the nations?
The LORD is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. The LORD is the strength of His people, a fortress of salvation for His Anointed One. (Psalm 28.8-9)
