My name is Amy Michael, and I am the owner of dvLaRue. One of the first questions anyone asks me is, "Where did you get the name dvLaRue from?" It's an interesting question, but the answer is most important. dvLaRue is named after my grandmother, DeVera LaRue. She embodied everything a person should be. She was loving and kind and made everyone feel like they were the only person around. She was an inspiration to me and by naming my business after her, it is a daily reminder of the kind of person I want to be, not only in my personal relationships, but in business as well. I strive to ensure that each and every one of my clients feel like they are my only client. That is why I give out my cell number and answer my own emails.
