Eastminster features special presentations from some of our supported missionaries on the second Sunday of the month following the 11 a.m. service in the Fireside Room. There is no cost to attend these events, but reservations for the meal must be made by the Wednesday before each luncheon. Contact Marcia Davis (634.0337, ext. 231, or mda...@eastminster.org). Our Second Sunday featured missionaries present a Minute for Missions in all the worship services, share with our K-5 Sunday school classes, and offer an in-depth presentation during the 12:30 p.m. luncheon. Each year, many Eastminster members participate in short-term missions trips to countries all over the world. Other short-term work teams serve here in Wichita or elsewhere in the United States, helping with disaster-related needs, outreach ministries and specific projects. There will be a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary to elect elders and deacons and for any other business that may be properly presented. You may pick up a booklet about the nominees beginning Sunday, November 7, a the church reception and information desks.
