We are a family owned & operated business where the health, safety & overall well being of your pet is our number one concern. To better ensure this, the owners live on the premises, keeping a watch on your pet day and night. The only ones to ever care for your pet are the owners of Mystic Acres Kennel, this helps to reduce your pets stress level. This system allows MAK (Mystic Acres Kennel) employees to know if your pet is eating, playing, sleeping or doing anything out of the ordinary.
Every run is a 4 x 17 foot run. 4 x 7 foot is inside in air conditioning and heat. 4 x 10 is outside under a covered veranda. We let the dogs out a min. of 4-5 times a day in their outdoor runs. Additional playtime is $2 per day and they are in a grassed area with 8-foot fencing. We do not let the dogs play with other dogs, unless they are family member dogs. Instead, we believe in playing with the dogs ourselves.

You may bring any bedding or toys that will help your pet feel more comfortable.
Please label all your pets food, bedding, and toys.
Proof of vaccination by a licensed veterinarian required:

*Note, on Sunday, by appointment, we will allow you pick up after 6:00 P.M. and as late as 9:30 P.M., but, you must let us know in advance.

If you pick up your pet Mon-Sat before 12:00P.M. you will not be charged for that day.
If you pick up on Sunday you will be charged for a full day.
We do ask that you set an appointment to drop and pick up your pet.
If you will be a different time than previously planned, we ask you please call and let us know.

Take I-35 South to the 169 South exit (Paola), take a left and proceed approximately 10 miles to the Spring Hill / Bucyrus exit (223rd Street). Take a right (west) and then take an immediate left (South) onto Old KC Road. Drive exactly one mile and look for our sign on the right-hand (west) side of the road.
From Overland Park:
If you live on the West side of OP you can use the directions for the Olathe folks. If you are closer to Metcalf use the following:
Take 69 south to the 223 street exit and take a right (west). Drive about 10 miles until you get to the 169 highway interchange. Go over that bridge and take an immediate left onto Old KC Road. Drive exactly one mile and look for our sign on the right-hand (west) side of the road.

Take 169 North to the 223rd Street exit and take a left (west). After crossing back over 169 take an immediate left (South) onto Old KC Road. Drive exactly one mile and look for our sign on the right-hand (west) side of the road.

Take 68 Highway west to 169 Highway and go North to the 223rd Street exit and take a left (west). After crossing back over 169 take an immediate left (South) onto Old KC Road. Drive exactly one mile and look for our sign on the right-hand (west) side of the road.

4' x 17' indoor/outdoor run is $18/day
If you have more than one dog there is a 10% discount so it would be $16.20/dog/day
Cat Condo is $10/day

Playtime is $2/day
Baths are $10 for small dogs, $12.50 for medium dogs, $15 for large dogs
Nail trims are $5
