The Courtland Hotel & AVEDA Spa Salon is the last of Fort Scott's Railroad era Hotels. It has been converted into a Destination Hotel & AVEDA Spa Salon, set in the heart of Historic Downtown Fort Scott, Kansas.

The restoration of this stately structure, Circa 1906, has been a labor of love. Originally constructed to accommodate weary travelers and railroad executives. Now it has been converted to accommodate the weary Body and Soul. The completed work preserves the original charm and ambiance of the hotel and its sixteen cozy rooms, yet still being able to provide "State of the Art" Day Spa Salon services.
The remodeling of the hotel saved the Beautiful, spacious lobby as well as the large open stairway that leads you to the guest rooms that are located on the second floor. Each room is decorated with a splash of Historic charm and boasts a private bath.

With the addition of the AVEDA Day Spa Salon the facility allows for Couples, Groups or individuals to be able to "Get Away" and "Indulge" themselves with Accommodations, Spa/Salon services, and to Awaken to the aroma of hot coffee and enjoy a Continental breakfast of fruits, juices, breads and pastries, in our spacious Dining area.
Hotel Capacity and Amenities
A total of 15 rooms are available for occupancy. The entire Hotel or just part of it can be reserved for special events, such as family reunions, business meetings, social events, receptions, even weddings. This allows the utmost privacy for your special occasion.
