My name is Sherry Ellis and I want to welcome you to our Gardner Dance Studio web site.

We feel dance not only helps foster an appreciation for the fine arts, it also provides an educational outlet for our children at all ages.

Our pre-dance students ( 3-5 yrs old) learn independence, socialization, balance, following directions while learning the basic steps of ballet, tap and tumbling in a enjoyable environment through many fun dance activities and crafts.
Combination students take tap ballet tumbling to the next level working more on strength, balance, and technique along with circle fun activities that help with gross motor skills.
By the age of 9 or 10 the students can pick a subject that they enjoy the most and at the same time be old enough to have the coordination and attention span to learn higher levels of technique, rhythm, strength.
Most classes are taught at a recreational level. For the more experienced dancer, we have competitive teams: Tiny Tot, Diva Tiva, Performance Team, Competition Team & Troupe.
At the end of the fall season the studio has a recital at the high school in June. Each class will perform at least one dance, maybe two. Recital participation is optional for each student.
Fall classes run from September May
