Little People's Place Child Development Center...because your kids are worth it!

We are a family owned business with longtime roots in the Kansas City
area. We were prompted to get into the child care business based on
experiences we had with our own children in child care. The experiences
were good and bad, and we decided that more quality child care centers
were needed. We wanted to create a place where your Little People will
grow and learn and explore, a place where you can feel comfortable that
your children are safe and well cared for, a place where learning is fun

Little People’s Place is designed for children ages 6 weeks through 4th
grade. We offer full day programs (full time and part time) and a half day
preschool program. We transport students to and from the Gardner
schools. We have large playgrounds for smaller Little People and bigger
Little People too. We want parents to be actively involved in our center,
so parents are always welcome to join us for lunch.

LPP's director, Mickie, has more than 30 years of experience in child
care, and she has so much energy and enthusiasm for Little People.
Mickie has been a teacher, a director, and an educator of other childcare
professionals, so she is top notch in the childcare field.

We have chosen the High Reach curriculum, which can be found on the
web at www.highreach.com. It is a nationally recognized curriculum and
will be used in all classrooms except the school age classrooms (which
will follow and reinforce the Gardner school programs).
