Greetings from the group of Christians meeting at 13875 W. 151st Street in Olathe, Kansas. Whether you are simply looking for a church to visit or are in need of a new home congregation, we are glad that you have found our website.
More than an event that religious people attend to get their weekly spiritual “fix”, we believe that the church is God’s people assembled on earth for a God-given purpose. We are to help and encourage each member in faithful, submissive service to God. We are sent into the world with a message of good news that brings genuine happiness on earth in addition to eternal salvation in heaven.
Wehave a burning desire to serve God faithfully in our daily lives, and to worship Him as a church body according to biblical guidelines. We believe this can be done in meaningful, relevant ways that may be called “traditional”, but which are much more than formalized rituals.
We desire to be a church planting church. Lord willing, as our congregation continues to grow we will be able to plant additional congregations in the greater Kansas City/Johnson County area. This goal is a guiding principle in all decisions, ministries and activities of the 151st Street Church of Christ.
