My name is Patrick Henderson. I am an attorney who represents individuals throughout northeast Kansas. My website is intended to give you a little information about my law practice and some personal information about me.

I am a solo-practice attorney with a general “civil trial” practice. This means that I work directly with my clients. If I represent you, the attorney that you meet with at our first appointment will be the same attorney who handles your case. I enjoy one-on-one relationships with my clients as I feel that the client is better served by this focussed attention. Many clients have told me that they enjoy that aspect of our relationship as well.

I have over ten years of experience representing individuals who have suffered serious personal injury, whether on or off the job. I am one of the few lawyers in the area of northeast Kansas who handles Workers Compensation matters. I also find it rewarding to represent individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases. In my practice, I am able to handle adoption, divorce, paternity, child custody, child support and related family law matters. I can also adeptly handle probate, real estate transactions, trusts and estates.

I strive to provide ethical, efficient, and zealous representation on behalf of all of my clients. I work hard to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible in the legal process. I recognize that my clients are typically strangers to the legal system, and are frequently passing through a stressful time in their lives. As a lawyer, I understand that communication with my client is very important. I strive to ensure that each of my clients understands the steps being taken to represent their interests in any legal proceeding.

My law office is located at the end of the pedestrian mall in downtown Atchison, Kansas, at the corner of 7th and Commercial Streets. I also have a satellite office in Leavenworth, Kansas, where I meet with clients by appointment only. I represent clients in Atchison, Leavenworth, and several surrounding counties in Kansas. I also represent clients in the federal courts located in Kansas City and Topeka.
