The All Faith Counseling Center (AFCC) is a non-profit organization providing counseling and educational services for individuals, couples, and families to restore relationships, to heal from abuse, grief or trauma, to strengthen communication and parenting skills, to promote family unity, and in general to help people manage stress, anxiety, and depression while creating joyful, meaningful lives. We have a sliding fee scale for clients who are uninsured or underinsured for mental health care.
Patsy Porter is a CPA in private practice in Atchison. She spent years on our Board and served as Treasurer. Throughout her term, Patsy prepared all of AFCCs taxes, Compilation Reports, and Financial Statements free of charge. Read more
Did you know AFCC is looking for a new home? For our entire 27 year history, we have been located in the basement of the Ramsey Medical Building south of the old Atchison Hospital. Later this year, Benedictine College will transform the building into a wonderful School of Nursing.
Five foundations donated thousands of dollars in 2009 for our Project Launch program for youth currently in session. Project Launch is an educational experience for teens to teach them the risks of early substance use/abuse and sexual behavior. Read more
