Before the inception of Deaf Expression, Inc. there was no sign language interpreting agency serving the Kansas City region. For the first time, Deaf Expression brought emergency and 24 hour availability of certified sign language interpreters to the Kansas City metro area. Our agency set the standard for quality, availability, and professionalism in our region.
January will mark our 18th year of business! Our experienced professionals adhere to a strict code of ethics. Confidentiality is of the utmost concern, and every client can be assured that requests will be handled discreetly, appropriately and efficiently. Our interpreters are trained in Deaf Culture and bring a unique understanding of Deaf Culture to help bridge the gap between the Deaf and Hearing community.

Our office is open 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We have a 4 person staff in the office during those hours, while dozens of interpreters are working out in the field day and night. For after hour requests, a live operator can be reached by calling our office ... we are always there!
