It's simple. We aim to provide the pets placed in our care with the best grooming experience possible. From the moment the pet enters our salon to the minute they are returned to their owners arms, pets will be treated kindly and with respect. Understanding not all pets enjoy being groomed D'tails is set up the for pets comfort and safety. With enough positive experiences most pets can learn to enjoy the grooming process or at the very least tolerate it.
Respect and Dignity
Each pet and owner is treated with respect and dignity. You have chosen me to be your groomer and/or your pets caretaker; trusting me with your pets care. In return I ask for your respect of my skills and time.
If you make an appointment and are unable to keep it, please call 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Due to loss of income from no shows I do charge a no show fee of 75% of the scheduled service without 24 hour notification. Two no-shows without a phone call pre-payment will be required prior to booking an appointment ( as well as any additional fees due). Three no-shows without due cause will result in my recommendation of a different groomer for your pets needs.
Potty accidents happen. It's not a big deal to clean up after a pet if they have an accident once or twice. If it happens each time they come to be groomed I will charge a clean up fee. Potty accidents sometimes mean an additional bath/blowdry is needed. Extra work for me extra stress for your pet. Please be sure your pet has had a potty break before coming in the shop.
Since I am working with living, breathing animals that move , not stuffed toys, sometimes accidents happen. You will be informed if I zigged and they zagged resulting in any injury no matter how small. Should an accident happen that would necessitate a trip to the vet, I will call you and let you know.
I like to take pictures and post them on this website and in the salon. If you would prefer I not post pictures of your pet please let me know.
