Step into the quieter rhythms of yesterday at the Vermilion Rose. It's located in a lovely historic neighborhood within minutes of downtown Wichita. Nearby is a renovated warehouse district, many local attractions, shopping, Mid-Continent Airport, and medical centers. The large Queen Anne-Italianate house, built in 1887, has been lovingly restored and modernized. Guests relax on one of three porches designed for quiet or visiting with friends, or borrow a book from the library and settle into an overstuffed chair by the fireplace in winter. Perennial Victorian gardens bloom from early spring until late fall. Music lovers may play the piano in the parlor.
After a restful night's sleep, enjoy a large continental breakfast that often contains seasonal specialties and can be adjusted to meet your low fat needs. Light snacks and specially blended herb teas and coffees are available to enjoy upon arrival or when browsing through the many books and magazines available for your enjoyment. Conference and meeting rooms as well as retreat planning and catering are available. The Vermilion Rose is a renewing experience in Historic Midtown Wichita, Kansas.
